With That Moon Language (Hafiz)
Everyone you see, you say to them, "Love me."
Of course, you do not do this out loud, otherwise someone would call the cops.
Still, though, think about this, this great pull in us to connect.
Why not become the one who lives with a full moon in each eye
that is always saying,
with that sweet moon language
what every other eye in this world is dying to hear?
. . .
Full Moons are a time of culmination. There is often a feeling of finality or closure that we feel around the night of the full moon; endings needed in order to inspire new beginnings.
The evening of the full Moon is the perfect moment to set aside time and space to become clear about intentions for the next moon cycle. One way to do this particularly aligned with the energy of the full Moon is to consider what you want to let go of in your life in sync with the coming waning of the Moon. As the light of the Moon grows smaller to us on Earth each night, this energy of disappearance can support you in releasing things that no longer serve you. This can be something as tangible as smoking cigarettes, or something less easily measured, like letting go of negative self talk. No matter what is is that you wish to release with the waning moon, it helps to speak it to others in a sacred space of intention or to write it down for yourself in a place that you can look back to on the new moon see the progress you have made.
Full Moons are also a time of celebration and of gathering. As the nights become warmer and the Winter fades into our memories, this full Moon is a great opportunities to go somewhere away from city lights to see the stars more clearly, to sleep outside in your back yard, or to simply sit in nature and be quiet and still, seeing what arises within you under the powerful receptive energy of the Moon.
